At Brighton, we believe lifestyle is the heartbeat of every thriving community. It’s what transforms a collection of homes into a connected place where people can truly live well, belong, and thrive.
When people hear “lifestyle community,” they often think of social calendars and clubhouses. Those matter—but lifestyle is more than events or amenities. It’s a philosophy centered on human connection, wellness, and purpose.
The People Who Bring It to Life
Behind every vibrant Brighton community are the people who make it feel alive—those who know the residents, understand their needs, and turn ideas into connections. Those people are our Lifestyle Directors.
Brighton’s Lifestyle Directors, Lauren Brown at Pinnacle and Amanda Travers at Cadence, embody what it means to build connection intentionally. Their work goes far beyond events and amenities; they nurture relationships, spark creativity, and cultivate a culture of belonging that lasts long after the event ends.
“Every event, every conversation, every moment of connection—those are the threads that weave community together,” Lauren says.
Every activity—whether it’s a wellness class, a community dinner, or a volunteer drive—is designed with purpose: to help people feel seen, valued, and part of something larger than themselves.
Why Lifestyle Matters
In a world where technology often replaces face-to-face interaction, people crave real connection. Lifestyle Directors fill that need by creating authentic opportunities for residents to meet, bond, and grow together.
At Cadence and Pinnacle, this people-first programming has created cultures of connection that inspire joy, wellness, and purpose in everyday life.
Thoughtful Design for Natural Connection
Lifestyle at Brighton doesn’t start—or end—with a calendar. In every community, connection happens naturally thanks to intentional design. Trails that lead to parks, patios that open toward shared green space, and amenities built to bring people together all encourage residents to interact organically.
Even in Brighton communities without a formal Lifestyle Director, our design philosophy ensures that connection still thrives—because every path, park, and gathering place is created with people in mind.
That’s the Brighton difference: whether guided by a Lifestyle Director or shaped by intentional design, connection is always at the heart.
A Foundation for the Future
While Cadence and Pinnacle currently lead the way with dedicated lifestyle programming, Brighton is working to bring that same energy to more of our communities. We believe every homeowner deserves to feel that same sense of belonging.
